Today

1.     Pray for the victims of the recent disastrous typhoon in Taiwan. Pray for relief, rebuilding work, God’s comfort & peace to be upon the land. Donations will be accepted today & 8/30 for this urgent need. Please write check to “FCBC-Walnut,” with “Compassion fund –Taiwan Relief” in memo line.

2.     Are you a believer but not yet baptized? 9/13 is your next opportunity for baptism!  English Membership Class:  9-10:30 am, B1.  Please be prompt.  Reception dinner on 8/29, 5 pm.  Applications in office.  George (Box #56).

3.     Small Group Leaders Meeting (12:45-3:00 pm, Bung. 3 & 4) All Small Group Leaders are expected to attend.  Lunch will be provided. 

4.     FCBC Christmas Musical signups begin today till 8/30 for 3rd-9th graders.  Volunteers of all ages needed.  Victor/Lily .

11.  Be a good neighbor:
 
a) Do not park on the residential side of Brea Canyon Cut-off Rd.
 b) Do not remove orange cones and park in the blocked Albertson loading area.
Be a good steward:
 
a) Turn off A/C (“cont. unoccupied”) when you leave the room.
 b) When A/C is on, close room doors.
 c) Return items after use & report broken equipment & furnishings to the office.
