English

In accordance to the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20) and the overall vision of FCBC Walnut, the English congregation seeks to make disciples for Jesus Christ.

We believe that a disciple of Christ is someone who lives with a Christ-centered identity, community, and mission.

  • Christ-centered identity: We are a church made up of individual worshipers and followers of Christ.
  • Christ-centered community: We gather around the person and work of Christ, the Bible, and the Ordinances (Baptism and Communion).
  • Christ-centered mission: We scatter into our various communities, schools, and workplaces with the goal of making more disciples for Christ.

Small Groups

Small Groups ministry is one of our major vehicles to accomplish the Great Commission of making disciples. Small Groups offer a close community for brothers and sisters to connect with one another, and to connect others to Christ. Through regular meetings, we build intentional relationships, practice spiritual applications, extend our mutual care, and commit to accountability. Small Group is a great place to stimulate each other to grow in the Lord.

If you have been with us for a while, have experienced fellowship with our people, and would like to consider us as your home church, let us know. We love to connect you to a small group and grow together in the Lord. Contact us at [email protected].

In-Transit is a fellowship group specifically for young adults (post-undergraduate) where God’s Word is taught to provide young adults with discernment and insight as they navigate these transitional years where many important life decisions are often made, such as: marriage, careers, and settling down in a community.

During our meetings, we worship God through music, listen to a sermon, and break out into discussion groups to help us apply what we’ve heard.
