Kevin Quan

Youth Minister

Kevin is the youth minister at FCBC Walnut and oversees the Friday night fellowships, Sunday School and Youth Service for the junior high and high school students. His desire is to see every youth embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, develop genuine fellowship with other believers, and boldly live for Christ and His Kingdom in today's world.

Kevin grew up in Santa Ana and attended FCBC Fountain Valley. He became a Christian as a result of the Christ-like patience and love from older mentors at FCBC Fountain Valley during his middle school and high school years.

Kevin came to FCBC Walnut in 2012 since he was looking for a college church. He felt the call to ministry during his second year of college. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry at Azusa Pacific University in 2014 and a Masters of Divinity at Talbot School of Theology in 2018.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys sleepovers, watching movies, eating pastrami fries from the Hat or clam chowder from Souplantation, hiking with friends, surfing, volleyball and biking.

But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.

Philippians 3:7-11
