Sunday School

What to Expect

Sunday School is a strategic ministry for the FCBC Walnut Family to Connect and Grow. We are committed to building up followers of Jesus through faithful interaction with the Bible and practicing what is learned within the church and the surrounding community.

This time also serves as an intergenerational hub, where newcomers and regular attendees are able to interact more deeply with one another through sharing and collaboration. Come check us out on Sunday mornings, and let's Live Scripture and Love scripture together!

Classes

Personal Disciplines: Hear, Pray, Love, Serve - 10/7, 14, 21, 28 from  9 - 10:20 AM | Ybarra MPR

Jesus illustrated the relationship between he and his people as vine and branches for which sustenance and satisfaction flows from the Lord to His disciples who cling to Him for everything. If we HEAR His Word, PRAY without ceasing, LOVE our neighbors, and SERVE the church, then we will be joyful disciple-makers that will bear much fruit. Contact Pastor Terrence for more info.

Perspectives - Sundays from 1/20 - 5/11 from 2 - 5 PM | FCBC Walnut

Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is coming back to FCBC Walnut after 10+ years! This course will help you understand God's plan for the world – and for your life – as you explore the 4 ways: biblical, historical, strategic, and cultural that God is at work. Perspectives will open the eyes of your heart with the fresh knowledge of God’s unchanging purposes and why they are relevant to your life and in this world now.

For 15 weeks you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the most highly regarded missions leaders and mentors. The speakers will challenge and inspire you to become a World Christian with a new perspective and how you can join God in His goal to reach the nations. You can register now!

Flier | Speaker List

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12
